Artificial Turf — AI Grass. Simple Thoughts on AI. AI — love it or hate it, it’s here to stay. I see countless videos and photos every day with AI-generated content becoming the norm. From sky replacements to skin retouching to completely new AI-created visuals, the tools and technology are truly incredible for businesses to grow with. But… they can also be abused. I’ve always used these “smart AI tools” minimally, relying on my own techniques and editing skills to create the images I share. Coming from years of working as a photojournalist, I always believed in — and followed — the standard that images shouldn’t be manipulated beyond their original scene, allowing only for color and exposure adjustments. I shot this track while flying one day with my drone. I loved the image but hated the yellow winter grass. That’s when I asked ChatGPT to “fix the yellow grass around the outside of the track.” I was genuinely impressed with how well it understood my request and transformed the grass.
